Piccadilly Street, where consultants consult and their spouses and receptionists make all the important decisions.
Add a dentist with a seductive chair, a psychiatrist who declares herself the saviour of all put-upon womanhood, and a failed customs sniffer-dog that can unerringly identify any suitcase containing dirty underwear.

About the Author
Sam Galliford is a scientist who has worked in hospitals in the fields of child and maternal health, in medical schools in the UK and Australia. Growing up in Teesside, he learned a love of story-telling from a grandfather who told him rollicking tales of adventurers, navigators and explorers from the days of history. It was later, when a colleague described one of his scientific presentations as ‘fiction’, he thought, ‘What a good idea!’, and he recalled his story-telling roots and began writing his own short stories. The short stories grew into novels, and Skyfire (2019) and Rockfall (2021) followed. Piccadilly Street is his third novel.
